I wasn't going to share this morning (partly because I have so many other things to do around here) but this porridge really rocks! Like all raw vegan foods it is at least (I would say majorly) somewhat more taste-alicious than hot porridge, and a whole lot more digestible and nutritious (no hard-to-digest grains, gluten-free, intact vitamins and minerals and enzymes, no refined sugars, no dairy). The portion of seeds was small (only three tablespoons altogether) and yet this is totally satisfying!
How to make:
In individual porridge bowls place:
- 1 T. Hemp Hearts
- 1 tsp. Chia Seed
- 1 T. Buckwheat Crispies (or even buckwheat groats that have been soaked overnight)
- 1 T. dried Cranberries
- Almond Yogurt (or almond milk)
- Fresh Fruit of Choice (or thawed fruit, as the blueberries above ; )
