How To Make Flavor-full Raw Vegan "Ice Cream"

Want to learn how to make raw vegan ice cream?

How about learning to make ice cream that is dairy free, sugar free, and full of all natural and healthy ingredients? An ice cream maker is helpful but not required for these recipes. I provide alternatives to using an ice cream maker within this book, including a food processor, juicer, and even hand stirred!

Here is a free recipe for Strawberry Ice Cream:
(Sweet and bursting with strawberry flavor!)

*1 cup raw cashews, soaked 4 hours, then rinsed
*1/4 cup soft pitted dates, soaked 30 minutes (reserve soak water)
*2 cups fresh strawberries
*1 cup young coconut meat
*1 cup coconut water
*1/2 cup agave
*1 tablespoon coconut oil
*1 tablespoon vanilla
*1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1. Combine all ingredients including date soak water in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour into a storage container and put in the refrigerator to chill for several hours, or in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours.
3. Pour chilled ice cream into your ice cream machine and follow the manufacturers instructions. It should take approximately 20 minutes to process. This will give you soft serve ice cream. If you prefer a harder scoop, pour the ice cream back into your
storage container and freeze. It should be hard within an hour or two.

Optional: If you prefer your Strawberry Ice Cream with extra Strawberry Sauce, blend 1/2 cup strawberries and 1 tablespoon agave. Pour Strawberry Sauce into ice cream maker just before turning off, or pour sauce into storage container filled with soft serve ice cream and stir in. Refreeze for hard ice cream.
